Who we are

Dossier Intel (dossierintel.com) is a productized research service. This policy explains what data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@dossierintel.com.

What we collect

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived here. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects identifiers for this purpose. We do not use this data to identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Payments. If you purchase a research package, payment is processed by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout pages. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares with us the information needed to fulfill your order: your name, email address, and any project details you choose to provide at checkout. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Email. If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can respond and maintain a record of the engagement. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which maintains standard server logs (IP address, request time, pages requested) for security and performance. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

What we don't collect

Our free templates and tools work without an account and without an email address. We don't run advertising trackers, sell data to third parties, or build marketing profiles of visitors.

Client research confidentiality

Research engagements are treated as confidential. The scope of your request, the deliverables we produce for you, and your identity as a client are not shared, published, or used as marketing material without your written permission.

How long we keep data

Analytics data is retained on Google's standard GA4 retention schedule (14 months). Email correspondence and engagement records are kept for as long as needed to support the engagement and meet ordinary business and legal record-keeping obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email hello@dossierintel.com with your request and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes that affect how client data is handled will be noted prominently.
